In this video, Derren Brown uses Natural language processing, or NLP, to change a man's gift choice. He has previously had the actor Simon Pegg write what he wants on a piece of paper, put it in a sealed envelope, sign it, and not let anyone else have it. Derren Brown talks to the man, using NLP to put ideas in his head. By the end of the video the gentleman wants what is in the box behind him and thinks he always has; he has completely forgotten that he wrote something different on the paper.
